ASSET & W had collaborated with the South Asia Pro Poor Livestock Policy Programme (SAPPLPP) to develop skilled cadre of 30 Community Animal Health Workers (CAHW) to help small and marginal farmers to increase productivity and decrease cost of production.
The two key objectives of this collaboration were to:
- 1- Develop a training curriculum, modules, manual for CAHW
- 2- IEC materials on livestock interventions.
